Servings 4-6
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of beef sirloin (cut into 1 inch cubes)
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4-5 cloves of minced garlic
- 1 1/2 – 2 large onions (cut into 1 inch cubes)
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1 pound Cremini mushrooms (wash and leave whole)
- salt to taste
Instructions:
- In a large bowl combine the cubed beef sirloin cubes, garlic, salt, pepper (or your favorite grilling steak rub) toss together everything making sure the meat is fully slathered
- Toss the mixture from the bowl into a zip lock bag and put in the fridge to marinate either over night or for a minimum of 1 hour
- Your are going to thread the ingredients ie. the cubed steak, and veggies (making sure to leave some space on each side about 1/3 inch)
- Once you’re ready to grill set the grill to medium-high heat, grill the skewers for about 15-20 minutes. (About 3 1/2 minutes per side!)
- Enjoy!
*Make sure not to press down on the meat while it’s grilling because you can dry it out which is not what we want! 🙂
Served great with quinoa or a buttered lettuce salad! Or both! 🙂
